What are we looking for?
Original and unpublished articles which pertain to the above-mentioned regions and topics. Articles could focus on the regions as a whole, individual countries that are part of the regions or the sub-regions. For example: Articles on Asia can include articles on individual countries (like India, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan etc.) as well as on sub-regions like South Asia, Central Asia, Middle East and Southeast Asia. Same principle applies to all the regions. International, plurilateral and regional organizations like the United Nations, European Union, African Union, G20, BRICS, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, MERCOSUR, CARICOM, EAEU etc. may also be the subject of the articles
Articles related to recent events or linked to emerging trends are preferred. Articles must bring a unique angle analysing a particular event and should go beyond mere reporting of the facts. Articles should narrow down on one topic or issue and discuss it in a focused manner rather than covering a broad range of issues. For example: specific issues in India’s foreign policy and foreign relations, the US-China trade war, Algeria-France diplomatic stand-off, Elections in Albania, Kazakhstan-Romania uranium supply deal talks etc. This is just an indicative list. Authors can explore diverse themes, choose from among the wide range of choice available in terms of countries and regions and write on those themes. Please do not use any AI tools for writing the article. Such articles will be rejected without giving any justification or notice to the authors.
Send your articles to submissions@globalhorizonsonline.com in MS Word file (No PDFs) along with your one-line author bio and X (Twitter) handle at the end of the article. Please mention your name as you want it to appear in the by-line.
We will contact you if we are interested in publishing your article. If you do not hear from us within five days of submission, please feel free to submit your article elsewhere. At present, submissions to Global Horizons are voluntary and do not carry any honorarium or monetary compensation.
